Grants Pass, Ore. — Starting in September a new bus route could be making it easier for many Rogue Valley residents to get around.
For just $2.00 a ticket you will be able to get from Grants Pass to Medford and vice versa.
The Daily Courier reported that the Josephine Community Transit will have five runs a day with stops in Rogue River and Gold Hill when riders request it.
People in the area said It’ll be helpful.
“Would be really helpful because there’s a lot of people like methat are on disability and we don’t have transportation to go to and from,” said Eugene Whitehurst.
“I think It’d be awesome. I walk everywhere I go and I’d finally get to go to Medford,” said Donna Keith.
The new route is possible thanks to a $450,000 grant.
