Apublic hearing will no longer be required in the City of Medford to put up public safety communication towers.
The city council voted last night to get rid of the public hearing portion of the process.
In 2011, residents in East Medford put up a fight over a tower…causing the tower to be moved.
The communication towers are built to enhance the city’s 9-1-1 communications.
