North Medford High School’s graduation rate increases

Medford, Ore. —North Medford High School’s graduation rate increased nearly 2% last year, to 76.41%.

Principle Ron Beick says he expects that number to continue to rise because of specific efforts by teachers and administrators over the last several years to invest into their students education.

“The real key is not waiting until the final two months to try to solve issues, it’s really starting at the beginning of their four years and supporting them all the way through,” said Beick.

This year’s number does include for the first time, modified diplomas, but principle Beick says it’s a fraction of a percent, a very small part of the increase.
