Officials investigating fatal shooting at Stop ‘N Go in Central Point, one dead

Stop N Go ShootingCentral Point, Ore. — Officials are on scene of an early morning shooting at the Stop ‘N Go on Table Rock Road in Central Point. The shooting happened around 9:30 a.m. on Monday.

Jackson County Detective Colin Fagan says about half a doze shots were fired. Officials confirmed that 53-year-old Douglas Spaur was shot at close range and died in his truck in the parking lot of the market.

Officials say the suspect, 29-year-old Robert Kahlil Davies-Calhoun from Central Point, was found on foot on Gibbon Road. Davies-Calhoun was taken into custody on outstanding warrants.
