Oregon Companies Bid to Remove ‘Phantom Dock’ on Newport Coast

The bids are in from Oregon companies vying to remove the phantom dock, after it washed ashore on an Oregon beach.

Officials with the Oregon Department of Parks and Recreation say it will cost around 150-thousand dollars to remove the dock.

That money will reportedly come from state funds.

The dock reached Agate Beach in Newport last week, after it broke off a Japanese shore in the 2011 tsunami.

No word on which company will remove the structure.
