Oregon Governor declares drought emergency in two more counties

Salem, Ore. –Oregon’s drought continuing to get worse as Governor Kate Brown added two more counties to the drought emergency list on Monday afternoon.

Governor Brown declared drought emergencies in Baker and Wheeler County.

The Oregon Drought Council has been requesting the Governor take action due to low snow pack and water levels.

Now a total of seven counties, including Klamath and Lake are under a drought emergency.
