Phoenix police are finally getting a contract, but one employee is getting the ax.

Cash strapped negotiations are coming to an end and Phoenix police are finally getting a contract, after working without one since the beginning of July.

Provisions include a dozen furlough days. A reception clerk did lose her job.

Officials had close to a $100,000 deficit in the general fund.
