The Phoenix-Talent school board has turned down an open- enrollment policy.
The board voted 4-1 last night–in favor of keeping their current policy, which allows students to transfer into the district with a case-by-case approval.
This vote follow’s the Ashland school district decision to adopt the policy, while the Medford school district voted against open enrollment.
