Pilot and passenger walk away from Dorris airplane crash

DORRIS, Calif. — A Klamath Falls pilot and their passenger walk away after an airplane crash Friday morning in Dorris.

According to Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Deputies, the airplane was damaged and on it’s top when they arrived at Butte Valley Airport.

They say both the 53-year-old pilot and passenger didn’t look like they were hurt and turned down medical treatment.

The FAA and NTSB have been notified.

The incident is under investigation.
