GRANTS PASS, ORE. — AGrants Pass woman is in jail after reportedly stabbing her boyfriend.
Grants Pass police say around 2:30, Saturday morning, Damitra Brown called to report her boyfriend, Nathaniel Holleman had choked and assaulted her in front of their two children.
Brown also admitted to stabbing Holleman in an earlier fight.
When police arrived, they found a one inch stab wound to Hollenman’s back. Hewas taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say after interviewing the two individuals they arrested Brown on charges of assault.
The department says charges of assault and strangulation will be referred to the Josephine County District Attorney on Holleman.
The two children in the home are reportedly in DHS care.
