Police respond to heroin overdose; save man; arrest another for tampering

MEDFORD, ORE. — Medford Police seeing an increase in heroin cases being reported.

One of the most recent cases involved an 18 year old man who had overdosed near Nobility and Regal in south medford.

Police gave the man naloxone, an opioid that reverses the effects of drugs.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

While police were investigating the overdose, they say 18 year old Trevor Wray was trying to destroy the drugs.

Police arrested Wray on charges of tampering with the evidence and possession of a controlled substance.
