Purple Parrot robbery leads to car pursuit and arrest

Medford, Ore. — While police were working on the Purple Parrot robbery case, law enforcement ended up in a pursuit that ultimately led to a vehicle crash.

Medford police say while following up on a tip involving the money stolen from the Purple Parrot, the driver of a Crown Victoria started driving erratically.

Jackson County sheriffs were called in and pursued the driver, shortly after 4:00, eventually the driver jumped from the moving vehicle in White City, leaving the rolling car to hit a fence.

Jacob Gadberry was arrested after hopping that fence and trying to get away, he’s in the Jackson County jail on several charges.
