Rally against L.N.G. pipeline

Shady Cove, Ore. –Nearly 80 residents who opposea proposed pipeline protestedSaturday morning in Shady Cove.

It’s known as the Jordan Cove Pacific Connector Liquefied Natural Gas Pipeline or L.N.G.

If approved it would run through parts of Shady Cove.

The pipeline would run 230 miles and proponents promise jobs.

Butsome protestersbelieves the project is as much a danger to the environment as it is to people.

The project still needs state and local permits to be approved.
