Power is out to Approx. 507 customers near Happy Camp, Calif. & has been since last Friday. Pacific Power says it could be another three days maybe more before all the power is restored.
Meanwhile, people are running low on firewood, food and water. Some residents are using wood stoves to melt snow for water and heat for cooking food.
Steep terrain and winter weather conditions have slowed progress but today’s clear sky allowed a helicopter to get a birds eye view.
