Major traffic alert for drivers out in Josephine County.
Starting at 7:00 this morning crewsbegan excavating a large failed water valve beneath the west bound lanes ofM street just past the parkway and before Mill street.
The area won’t re-open until at least 6:00 PM Mondaynight.
Now if crews don’t finish the work by Monday night, the same delay will be in effect again Tuesday.
Officials do sayM street will remain open to traffic, however west bound traffic will require re-direction through temporary travel lanes.
