Medford, Ore. – Dozens of families now have new furry additions thanks to free cat adoptions at several rogue valley animal shelters. The Jackson County Animal Shelter, Sanctuary One, and Southern Oregon Humane Society all participated in this year’s Catstravaganza. The event gives people an opportunity to adopt a vaccinated and neutered adult cat for free.
“It’s always successful, we always have people lined up outside on Saturday morning and quite often they have been here earlier to preview the cats,” said Sally Lowell.
Southern Oregon Humane Society adopted out more than 15 cats. The event also helps make room for more felines who need shelter.
