Salvation Army offers cooling station for the upcoming heat

Medford, Ore. — It’s going to be hot this weekend and the Salvation Army is gearing up to help people cool off.

Starting on Friday, June 26th, the Salvation Army plans to put out water at their thrift store on 922 North Central, for people who need to get out of the heat.

They can you know, sit down, and relax and drink some cold water and kind of refresh themselves and get a little hydration.

The Salvation Army has also given out 125 fans so far this summer.

They’re currently out of them, but Jackie Agee says any day now, they’re expecting to get money from the Arthur Dubs Doobs Foundation to buy more fans.
