Search for missing Oregon girl will resume Tuesday

The search will resume Tuesday for a young girl missing after falling into the Clackamas River in North Central Oregon.

It all happened Sunday afternoon as the girl was with her family at Austin Hot Springs.

Police say the family had come to enjoy a day of fun in the snow, but that’s when six-year-old Vinesa Snegur somehow fell into the river.

Her parents say they couldn’t reach the girl because of the strong currents, and because there is no cell service in the area.

Officials say the family even had to leave and drive forty-five minutes to a store for help.

Searchers are battling the cold and high water levels as they continue to look for the girl.
