Weather temporarily suspends search for third plane crash victim

Brookings, Ore. — The search for the third body involved a plane crash near Brookings has been temporarily suspended due to weather concerns.

With the current conditions on the water, the United States Coast Guard has issued a small craft advisory. That warning continues into the middle of next week.

Rough waters have hindered divers in the search for the missing plane and it’s three occupants. On Thursday, nearly two and a half weeks after the crash, the plane, and a body was found.

A second body was found yesterday, they have not yet be identified. The search for the third victim is expected to continue when the weather calms.
