Snow lovers hit the slopes at Mount Ashland

Ashland, Ore. — Mount Ashland officials said they got the gift they wanted this Christmas.

The latest storm brought in 6-11 inches of snow making it possible for them to reopen Friday. They were open last Friday but had to close because of rain. With a chance of snow tonight Mount Ashland officials said they’re hopeful they’ll be open for the rest of the season.

Windsor and Sonnet chairs are up and running and Mount Ashland officials said if the snow comes down like it’s supposed to they’ll be able to open more terrain.
