The Oregon Department of Transportation is reversing an earlier decision.
Now, they’ll allow a speed limit reduction on Highway 62 in Shady Cove.
ODOT’s revised decision was reported earlier this month.
Highway 62’s southbound speed limit will be reduced from 55 miles per hour to 45 miles per hour.
Officials say they’re reducing the speed limit because of traffic concerns and after additional investigation.
