Tonight on August 6th, Jon Stewart says goodbye after more than 16 years as host of “The Daily Show.”
Stewart took a moderately successful show on Comedy Central and turned it into a cultural phenomenon and must see TV.
He has also been given credit for getting younger Americans interested in news and politics.
His replacement, South African comedian Trevor Noah takes over on September 28th.
