TRENDING: Japan’s ‘anti-loneliness’ cafe

Tokyo, Japan — A cafe in Japan has a creative anti-loneliness concept that recently went viral. Moomin House Cafe seats lone customers with stuffed animal companions called Moomins.

Moomins are a family of white hippo-like characters created by Finnish illustrator and writer Tove Jansson.

There are now three Moomin Cafe locations in Japan.
