Medford, Ore. — Medford police are looking for two men who they say walked into a subway restaurant early this morning and robbed the place using what appear to be long knives.

At around 2:30am two suspects dressed in all black robbed walked in to a Subway restaurant on Crater Lake Avenue in Medford.

Brandishing what appears to be knives in the surveillance video, the suspects made off with less than 100 dollars in cash, but not before terrorizing the lone female clerk inside. Now police are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspects.

“If they’re convicted of this crime, that’s seven and half years mandatory, it doesn’t make sense, so we’re probably dealing with some pretty desperate criminals out there,” said Lt. Mike Budreau.

Police say the men appear to be white males with thin builds between the ages of 20 and 40 years old.

As for the clerk who was robbed, coworkers told NBC5 that she is in good spirits and unharmed.

Subway managers say they plan to change how they operate during their late night hours to better protect employees.
