Two people arrested following road rage incident

Central Point, Ore. — Two people are facing charges, following a reported road rage incident on I5 through Central Point on Friday.

Oregon State Police say the incident started around noon. Troopers say the two parties first got into a disagreement at the Medford Methadone Clinic. When one left, police say the other followed them onto the Interstate and began swerving toward their car.

Troopers say the road rage behavior continued from milepost 30 to 33, when someone in the first car flashed a gun. Police say after that, the cars separated. Troopers caught up to both parties at different locations.

The names of the people involved have not yet been released, but police say they were both arrested; one for reckless driving, the other for menacing with a gun.
