Zanotto found ‘guilty’ of Klamath Falls stabbing

Mattio Zanotto imageA jury has found a Klamath County man ‘guilty’ in connection with a stabbing that happened on the Fourth of July last year.

58 year old Mattio Zanotto of Bly was found guilty on charges including second-degree assault.

Prosecutors say Zanotto stabbed Ronald Rhoades with a filet knife in the back, and in the hand.

Zanotto is scheduled to be sentenced on March 1st.

The state is asking that Zanotto be sentenced to more than 13 years in prison.
