Local radio station raises money for St. Jude Children’s Hospital

0225 st judesMedford, Ore. — Q100.3’s 13th annual Country Cares for St. Jude Radiothon is in full swing.

The Q-Crew, Jason Allen and Ashley Greninger, will be live broadcasting from 6am to 7pm Thursday and Friday, bringing inspirational stories of children and families whose lives have been impacted by cancer. They hope listeners rally behind this cause to find a cure for children’s cancers by calling in and making a monetary donation to St. Jude for as little as $2 a month.

“Last year at this time there was a little girl from Grants Pass getting chemo at St. Jude. She went back to school this week. That’s why we’re doing it,” said Jason Allen.

The last 12 radiothons have brought in over $1 million. Q-100.3 hopes to break records this year, and top their single year high of $201,000.
You can donate to St. Jude online or call 1-800-995-5257 from 6am to 7pm Thursday and Friday.
