Medford, Ore. — The man accused of leading police on a chase over the weekend that ended in a deadly crash is being held on a million dollars bail.
26-year-old Robert Brooks appeared in court for the first time Thursday afternoon after being released from the hospital.
He is facing a slew of charges including manslaughter, DUII, and resisting arrest.
The crash over the weekend claimed the life of 63-year-old Catherine Hein, a mother and grandmother who was heading home from an OSF performance when she was hit and killed.
