Man arrested for dealing drugs near Medford school

0801 Robert RossiterMedford, Ore. – Police have arrested a man who is suspected of selling drugs at a Medford residence within 1,000 feet from Washington Elementary School.

Medford Police said officers served a search warrant on in the 600 block of Plum Street on Friday around 9:00 a.m.

According to police, six people were found in the residence along with drug paraphernalia, around one ounce of meth, scales, packaging, and other materials related to drug sales.

Police said 54-year-old Robert Rossiter is believed to be responsible for the drug sales. He was charged with unlawful distribution, manufacture, and possession of meth.

Three other people at the residence were charged with possession of methamphetamine.
