Oregon State Police said Joshua Gibson was driving under the influence of intoxicants on Highway 199 near milepost 27 on September 10th, 2015.
Police say Gibson passed a group of vehicles in a no-passing zone and subsequently collided head-on with another vehicle. Three of Gibson’s passengers died as a result of the crash. Gibson and another passenger were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
On July 14th, Gibson accepted a plea of 15 years in prison for manslaughter, assault, and DUII.
