Medford airport director Jerry Brienza leaving in December

MEDFORD, Ore. – Medford’s airport will soon have new leadership.

Airport director Jerry Brienza will be leaving his position.

His last day will be December 16th.

He plans to seek job opportunities on the east coast.

He served as the airport’s director since November 2017.

Jackson County Administrator Danny Jordan has begun the search for a replacement.

UPDATE: This article has been updated. A previous version incorrectly stated that county commissioners were beginning to look for a new Airport Director.
