Medford, Ore. — Several organizations throughout the area served free meals on Thanksgiving. The Medford Gospel Mission served about 200 people. Both customers and volunteers said it’s a special time to come together.
“I do know at one point I sought some help from the mission. And it’s just a great way to give back and to meet new people. You know, just comfort them,” Edward Trujillo said, Medford Gospel Mission.
The Medford Gospel Mission serves dinner every night. Anyone in need is welcome to enjoy a hot meal.
