Medford man aims to get rid of Daylight Saving time

Medford, Ore. – A Medford man is working to get rid of daylight saving time in Oregon, by creating a petition with the Secretary of State’s office. David Miles is aiming to make an amendment to the Oregon Constitution, by eliminating daylight saving time.

Miles created the petition a week ago, and needs to turn in one-thousand signatures. After that, he’ll need more than 117,000 to get it on the ballot.

“We have a government type-thing set up where we can make changes, to make changes when they need to be made,” Miles said. “It’s time to not just complain, but to take action.”
