Medford woman relieved ‘up skirting’ suspect turned himself in

Ashland, Ore.– Police said 36-year-old John Lucier is responsible for taking a picture up a woman’s skirt at the recycling center Wednesday. He turned himself in Thursday night and now the woman who was the victim is allowing her name to be released.  She is 21-year-old Kathryn Pollard.

She was shocked to hear the news that Lucier turned himself in. “I want him to know that it’s wrong in his heart,” said Pollard.

Police said Lucier admitted to taking several pictures up women’s skirts for a long period of time. Ashland Police Sergeant Bob Smith said, “He had indicated that there were a number of places in Ashland where he had done this.”

They were not able to release the exact time number of times Lucier has done those or which exact locations.

Pollard is just hoping there will be consequences for his actions.

Luicer is facing 10 charges of Invasion of Personal Privacy and tampering with evidence. Police said he deleted all the photos from his cell phone.
