Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport

Medford, Ore. — The Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport has announced there will be daily flights to Phoenix, Arizona and Los Angeles, California.

The airport said American Airlines services to Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix and Los Angeles World Airports will be available immediately.

“This is something we’ve been working on for quite some time for our community,” said Airport Director Bern Case. “Receiving the phone call from American Airlines was a great way to begin the New Year. We’re definitely pleased that they see the potential for successful service in our market and will support them however we can.”

According to the airport, the flights are expected to begin in Los Angeles, stop in Medford, then continue on to Phoenix. The turnaround will be Phoenix to Medford, then back to Los Angeles.

The airport has been working to provide regular service to Phoenix since US Airways left the Rogue Valley in 2008.
