Medford, Ore. – With school out and the temperatures rising, Monday was the perfect day for the Jackson Aquatic Center to open.
Kids anxiously waited for Medford’s only public pool to open.
“I can’t wait to swim because it’s the first day that the pool opens, said Isabella Donald. “I’ve been going here for three years and I can’t wait to do a cannon ball.”
Jackson Pool is the only city owned pool since Medford Parks and Recreation closed Hawthorne Pool in 2011.
The pool is open 7 days a week.
