Mental Health Forum

Grants Pass, Ore., — An event in Grants Pass, “Next, Now”,  is the first ever cross-sector partnership between Jackson, Josephine and Curry counties.

The two day seminar is focusing on improving health, safety and education in our communities.

The purpose of the event is to advance the understanding of the problems we face in our society – not just in the work place or school systems – but in individual. homes as well.

“I think this work will have a significant impact on how trauma informed practices reach all down to the family level, so we can understand what’s going on inside our bodies.” said Todd Bloomquist with the Grants Pass School District.

Though the focus is on individuals who work with those who have mental and physical health issues – everyone is invited.

The free event continues tomorrow at 9:30 at the Parkway Christian Center.
