Portland, Maine (NBC News) — A fireball lit up the sky across New England early Tuesday morning.
Police dashcam video from Portland, Maine captured the moment as the sky was illuminated and the meteor streaked across the sky.
People reported seeing it as far south as New Jersey and as far north as Canada.
