MEDFORD, Ore.– A woman accused of attempting to kill herself and a young child was arraigned on Monday for charges of attempted murder.
Kyla Duncan, 49, was spotted in a vehicle with the child last week in Rogue River. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said a caller alerted them and that Duncan was attempting to commit suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning.
During her arraignment, Duncan pled not guilty to the charges. The court ordered her to have no contact with the child or the father and set her bail at $1 million.
