Bend, Ore. – Bend police have found a 5-year-old girl who was reported missing from her Bend foster home Monday. The girl’s mother, a possible person of interest in the disappearance, is still being sought.

The Bend Police Department said when Gabriella Leyva-Rosales’ grandmother woke up Monday morning at 7:30, she found the 5-year-old had gone missing. Gabriella was last seen at 4:00 a.m. in her bed.

Officers sent out an urgent missing person release and checked different areas in Bend in an attempt to locate Gabriella.

KTVZ reports word came around 2:00 p.m. that Gabriella has been found safe in the area of Northeast Tucson Way.

Police said they’re now looking for Gabriella’s biological mother, Bertha Leyva–a person of interest in the disappearance.

Officers said a possible vehicle involved is a black SUV that’s similar to a Chevy Suburban. It may be towing an open top wood-sided trailer.

If you see Bertha Leyva or the SUV, call police.
