Del Norte County, Calif. –On Monday, the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office said 40-year-old Humboldt County resident Mary Lynn Dezern was reported missing after she didn’t arrive at her destination in Prospect, Oregon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Dezern’s vehicle was found around 1:45 Monday afternoon near milepost 8 on Highway 199. Officers said she was found dead inside the car.
CHP investigators have not yet determined what caused the crash.
