Fresno, Calif. (KSEE) — California police are asking for the public’s help in identifying several suspects in an attack that targeted a California Highway Patrol vehicle.
Newly released dashcam video shows a CHP officer approaching the angry crowd before they vandalized the vehicle at a Fresno “sideshow” car gathering.
“As we all saw in the video this was extremely disturbing this was absolute anarchy on the part of those individuals that were vandalizing the CHP vehicle with the officer inside and I have no doubt had to CHP officer gotten out of his vehicle they would’ve attacked him,” said Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer.
Fresno police have arrested three people for alleged criminal activity that day and they need help identifying more people from still pictures and video of the incident.
