(NBC News) — Retired General Michael Flynn returned to Trump Tower Thursday. President-elect Donald Trump’s close aide is now reportedly his pick for National Security Advisor.
The retired three-star general is controversial, appearing in the past on Russian T.V. and with Vladimir Putin.
South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, under consideration for Secretary of State, also paid a visit, and a source reports Trump will talk this weekend to Mitt Romney about that same job.
