NBC5 News has learned of new developments in the ongoing issues at OnTrack earlier this week, NBC5 broke the story that the addiction treatment center placed its executive director, Rita Sullivan, on leave.
Now, we’ve learned the Oregon Department of Human Services is reviewing its contract with the agency. Once the report is completed, it will go to the Oregon Department of Justice for review.
DHS told NBC5 the Department of Justice Acts as its lawyer. It works with the DOJ on a case by case basis depending on need, including when there’s the suspicion of illegal activities.
DHS could not tell us what sparked the contract review.
