Motions in case involving Klamath Co. Sheriff scheduled for review

Klamath County, Ore. — Motions in a case involving Klamath County Sheriff Frank Skrah are scheduled to be reviewed by a judge next month.

Skrah was indicted in September of last year on misdemeanor criminal charges, including fourth degree assault, harassment, strangulation, and official misconduct.

Defense attorneys say the indictment should be dismissed, claiming the charges should have been filed separately rather than in a single indictment.

The state maintains the charges reflect a pattern of misconduct, but have agreed to amend the indictment.

A judge is scheduled to review these and other motions on June 28th.
