Medford, Ore. — An accident between a motorcycle and a construction vehicle sent one person to the hospital and closed down a county road around 8:30 Wednesday morning.
Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies say the motorcyclist tried to pass the truck on Foothill Road while the truck was turning, ending with the two vehicles colliding.
Foothill and East Vilas Roads were closed temporarily while deputies and Oregon State Police investigated.
Deputies said the driver of the motorcycle was transported to rogue Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured.
