Mt. Hood snow draws a crowd - KOBI-TV NBC5 / KOTI-TV NBC2

Mt. Hood, Ore. (KGW) — Several inches of snow fell on parts of Mt. Hood over the weekend, giving visitors to Timberline Lodge an early taste of winter.

On Monday, the flakes continued to fall up and people from all over made the drive up to see it.

Walter and Peg Bradley, visiting from Austin, Texas, said they came up to Mt. Hood hoping to get a glimpse of Fall foliage.

Instead they got snow. But they weren’t complaining.

“This is the most amazing scenery,” Peg said. “Oregon is amazing. We love it.”
