Huntington Beach, Calif. (NBC Los Angeles) — Mysterious jelly-like creatures were spotted along the shore in Huntington Beach this week. After examining photos of the gelatinous critters, scientists with National Oceanic and Atmospheric Scientists are stumped. They’re not exactly sure what these animals are, but their best guess is a burrowing sea cucumber.
