New charges for Medford teacher accused of sexting students

0603 Richard Fay jailMedford, Ore. — A South Medford High School teacher who is currently behind bars is facing more charges after another student came forward with allegations of an inappropriate relationship.

38-year-old Richard Fay was arrested Wednesday after police were tipped off that he was having an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old student.

According to court documents that included exchanging sensual and sexual text messages with the teen girls.

On Friday, police tacked on additional charges, including two counts of sex abuse in the third degree, after another 17-year-old student came forward with evidence of an inappropriate relationship with the social studies teacher.

Fay is on paid administrative leave at the high school. Police are urging any other victims to come forward.
