Klamath Falls, Ore. – Klamath County Commissioners are seeking new designs for a county logo.
Commissioner Derrick DeGroot points out the current Klamath County logo was designed in 1976. “The logo that we have does a good job of capturing the history of Klamath County, but it’s also time to update and modernize our look a little bit.”
The old logo shows a logging truck, but it doesn’t show an F-15.
Cattle ranching is included on the existing logo, but there’s no evidence of Crater Lake National Park.
And while it may be just a logo, DeGroot hopes a subtle change in packaging may help in marketing the county. “How can we re-brand ourselves, and make us as appealing as possible to those that would look to invest in Klamath County.”
If you’ve got an idea for a Klamath County logo, draw it up and submit it to the Klamath County Commissioners office by the first of April.
